Walking For Your Health

Walking for your health, I'm loving this program and I've been doing it for a while. I feel much stronger, toner and my mood is healthier. I'm not writing this for you, wink wink I'm writing it for me! I need to really drill the importance of the health benefits and incorporate them into my daily life. I'm way over 50 and you know the problems that come with that. Stubborn weight loss is one of my biggest issues. I sometimes feel like when I drink a glass of water I gain 10 pounds. I'm exaggerating but that is how I feel some days. I'm going to post things I have found, what I am learning and I would love to hear from you. What are you doing for your health? I'm sure we all would love to see what everyone is doing and spice up our own health routines.

Regular exercise is associated with improved function of our immune system, reports the American College of Sports Medicine's "Exercise is Medicine" initiative. Immune boosting power is what makes fitness walking so incredible! From stronger bones, muscles, brain, heart, lungs, all systems of the body function better to fight disease! Try for 30 minutes of brisk walking most days of the week to get the most immune boosting benefits! Happy Walking! - Your Daily Walk

Regular brisk walking can help you: Maintain a healthy weight. Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. Strengthen your bones and muscles. Improve your mood. Improve your balance and coordination. - Mayo Clinic

To maintain a healthy lifestyle, you need to keep eating healthy. Add more fruits and vegetables in your diet and eat less carbohydrates, high sodium and unhealthy fat. Avoid eating junk food and sweets. Avoid skipping a meal—this will only make your body crave more food the moment you resume eating.

Okay, my friends, I want to hear from you.
What tips do you have to stay healthy?

Be well.
